Tue Oct 7 07:28:00 2008 - Shared Hosting Services (pop3, imap)Shared Hosting Customers experienced problems retreiving their mail via POP3/IMAP services. The problem was isolated to the VHC2 control panel where the user database was found to be corrupted. The user database was resored at approx 9.30am. Incomming email was not affected by this outage. |
Fri Sep 26 22:30:00 2008 - Shared Hosting Services (all)Our Shared Hosting Services were moved today to one of our data centers in Missouri USA as part of our planned works. This allowed us to take advantage of increased speed and bandwidth availability using 64bit architecture. There were some minor issues related to system time and php scripts which should no be under control. |

Sun Oct 28 2007 - Web ServicesShared Hosting Customers connected to melfi experienced intermittent loss of web services commencing at 11.42am until 7.00pm. The fault was eventually isolated to OpenSSH Vulnerabilities in Challenge Response Handling in the Apache2 software. A complete intrusion detection sweep and assessment was performed on all web content to isolate the source of the vulnerability. Vendor software updates were applied at 7.00pm Sun 28th and all services were restored. Our engineers will be reporting the incident to www.cert.org to categorize and respond appropriately. Further updates will be posted if required. |
