What is SEO?
SEO stands for “search engine optimization.” It is the process of getting traffic from the “free,” “organic,” “editorial” or “natural” search results on search engines.
The major search engines such as Google, Bing and Yahoo all have primary search results, where web pages and other content such as videos or local listings are shown and ranked based on what the search engine considers most relevant to users. It should not be confused with Search Engine Marketing (SEM) where you pay search engines to have your site or pages listed.
Both SEO and SEM are deemed as marketing with the aim in increasing your visibility in search engines. Net Solutions is able to assist in both SEO and SEM but its hard to know how well or how poor your website performs in search engines without a comprehensive analysis. An SEO assessment is a great first step to know where you stand.
What is an SEO Assessment?
Google are constantly re-defining the rules about ranking high in SERP’S and it is no longer about keywords and stuffing the search engines with wanted phrases. It is now about meaningful, high quality content that is written with the user in mind, not the search engine.
Our SEO Assessment service identifies where your website is in this process. Google does not make this easy as there are aspects to consider and many checkpoints for each aspect. If that sounds confusing, thats because it is. These are the rules that Google sets and if you don't play by their rules, your ranking will suffer and sometimes, you wont get indexed at all.
Net Solutions has been around long enough to know what works and what doesn't. The value of our service is measured by our experience.
We analyse over 400 checkpoints
Our processes use a combination of methods and tools to examine and analyse the various aspects of how your site is performing.
We know that Google uses approx 200 ranking factors in their algorithms. Our checklist covers all the ranking factors plus other measures to get a more complete picture of your site.
